Hospice is an organization that helps you, through palliative care, in making the most of life. We do all that we can to improve the quality of life of everyone we serve. We believe that you should not only be able to die peacefully, and in comfort, we believe that you should be able to live until you die.

Hospice provides a 24 hour service to patients and their families. Care is provided to those in need without regard to ethnic group, religion, colour, sexuality or ability to pay.
Goldfields Hospice offers palliative, home-based care, in Welkom and surrounding areas, to patients in the end stages of advanced, progressive disease (terminally ill), as well as support to their families, so that all may have the best possible quality of life. Our care continues into the bereavement period.
Palliative Care is an approach that improves the quality of life for patients and their families facing problems associated with life threatening illness through prevention and relief of suffering, the early identification and assessment of pain as well as physical, psycho-social and spiritual needs.
